The Northern Cardinal resides in the Eastern United States through to Texas, eastern New Mexico, Nebraska, and Minnesota. The male is a brilliant red and both have a black facial mask around the eyes. The female is a combination of buffed gold, with an orange-red wing and tail. Their prominent head crest makes it easy to identify a cardinal.

Attract cardinals to your yard by offering black oil sunflower seeds, hulled sunflower, corn products and safflower or nutrasaff. They prefer a landing platform, so consider a fly-thru feeder, seed catcher tray under your hopper feeder or a ground feeding platform. We offer many different types of Cardinal feeders.
